I got into the habit of making playlists for my projects back when NaNoWriMo was a going concern.  Never really stopped.  Being the old-school type, I keep my playlists (and my music collection) local, playing them through Winamp.  This was the list I built for Enemy Of My Enemy , an urban fantasy project.  Sometimes, a piece was chosen for the lyrics.  Others, for the melody and beat.  Occasionally, in the case of the Dropkick Murphys, the song ended up being a detail in the narrative.
